Activate Your WB-PA Platform

1. REGISTER

First you have to register on behalf of your organisation to activate the personal and free digital platform for Public Administrations to receive and manage reports of crimes,. Click on the REGISTER button, fill in the required fields and you will automatically activate the platform ready for use. To find out how we will process your data, read the privacy policy.

2. SET-UP THE PLATFORM

Now that you have registered you have access to the administration interface of your WB-PA digital solution where you will receive your reports and you can change the settings of your user profile.

To complete the setup process, change the initial password provided to you, activate the two-factor authentication and copy and save the account recovery key which will allow you to access the platform again if you lose your password. Finally, check the user settings and the data of the recipient of reports, and upload the logo of your organisation.

You will be able to access the platform whenever you want to check the reports received and to communicate with whistleblowers. Follow the instructions you received during registration to access the platform.

3. APPOINT THE EXTERNAL DATA PROCESSING MANAGER

The WhistleblowingPA project involves the maintenance and updating of a cloud platform by Whistleblowing Solutions. The organisation that adopts the WB-PA proposal must therefore send to the email address gdpr@whistleblowing.it the document of appointment of Whistleblowing Solutions as external data processing manager which it received when registering the platform or that can be downloaded from the technical documentation page of this website. Other documents to support privacy and security requirements are available on the same page.

4. PUBLISH THE WEB LINK OF THE PLATFORM

The employees and collaborators of the organisation, the employees and collaborators of companies that provide works and services for public administrations, and all other legitimate subjects according to the legislation, will be able to send a report to the public web link of the platform that has been sent to you by email.

To start receiving reports, you need to publish the link on your organisation’s website. To make it easily accessible to everyone, as required by law, we suggest you share it on the homepage of the institutional website, on a page dedicated to whistleblowing in the Transparent Administration section, and make it searchable through the search engine within the website.

On the communication materials page you can find all the information to effectively disseminate your new service.
