The WhistleblowingIT project is, as always, constantly evolving and this year it is enriched with a new initiative, totally free, for the benefit of all participating organisations: training for whistleblowing managers.
To accommodate the diversity of the organisations that have joined our project, for this first year we have decided to organize three distinct training sessions: one dedicated to the Public Administrations that have joined the free WhistleblowingPA version, one for those who have adopted one of the standard versions (private organisations and public owned companies) and finally a session for the more advanced needs of all those who have adopted the customizable version.
The first meeting will be dedicated to the latter and will be held online on Wednesday 29 May 2024, from 10.00 to 12.30. Multiple subjects per organization will be able to participate and, in particular, those who directly receive and manage reports and those who, internally or externally, collaborate in the documentary and operational preparation of procedures relating to whistleblowing (e.g. DPO).
This first session will focus on the following topics:
- Advanced features of the GlobaLeaks digital platform
- Privacy obligations
- Management of the reporting process
WhistleblowinIT partners will speak and in particular: Giovanni Pellerano, Project Lead of GlobaLeaks, Alessandro Rodolfi, Jurist expert in Data Protection and Cybersecurity, Giorgio Fraschini, Whistleblowing Program Manager of Transparency International Italia.
